70s inspired Striped Socks

I cannot believe this is the first finished pair of socks for my husband this year. Where has the time gone?

2026 has been a whirlwind of new activities so far—all knitting related. They are in the planning stages, where a lot of emailing and computer work is involved, which means less knitting time for the time being. I am so thrilled to share more about each project as they unfold throughout this year and beyond.

Since my husband’s feet require such long heel flaps, sometimes it looks really nice to switch colors for the heel turn to break it up a bit. I am happy with the result, and the customer is even happier. :)

Yarns used: West Yorkshire Spinners Signture 4-ply 1000, 240, 1235 + Opal Uni 4-fach 9932
